The new Marshdale Elementary - budget at $16.5 million - will be a welcomed addition to the Conifer and Evergreen communities. With a groundbreaking set for May 2021 and a completion of Fall 2022, the new building is sure to wow students and staff. The Architecture firm, Hord Coplan Macht, worked with the school community to design a building that inspires students and incorporated their beautiful mountain aesthetic.
Additional features include:
- A design to serve up to 380 students;
- A brand new Pre-K component not currently in the Marshdale school;
- An artificial turf field and interactive playground outside for school use;
- Energy efficient building with daylight in every classroom and will have native plants and water-conscious landscaping;
- Maker Space for project based learning and small group rooms for personalized learning;
- State of the art commercial kitchen;
- New drop-off lane for parents.
