2023-24 Preschool Application Information

NEW: Preschool Enrollment Process for 2023-24 School Year

Starting in the 2023-24 school year, Jeffco families will be able to take advantage of up to 15 hours per week of free preschool provided by the CDEC.

4 Year Olds (Students that turn 4 on or before October 1, 2023)

Families will apply for preschool through the Universal Preschool Program (UPK) family portal beginning January 17.

Please note: When applying through the UPK family portal, if your desired school or program is not listed, please return to EnrollJeffco to apply.

3 Year Olds (Students that turn 3 on or before October 1, 2023)

For all preschool programs at Jeffco neighborhood schools, charter schools, and option schools, families with 3-year-olds will apply for preschool through EnrollJeffco starting on January 17.

Preschool Applications for the Current 2022-23 School Year

Any child who has turned 3 by October 1, 2022 can attend our preschools during this current 2022-23 school year. 
 
ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR THE CURRENT 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR ONLY

  1. Visit our District School Map to help you select a preschool with a location that suits your family. View our Full Day and Half Day Programs Hours of Operation for the 2022-2023 school year.
  2. Go to the EnrollJeffco page to begin the enrollment process.
  3. Add your child. New to Jeffco families will need to create an account in EnrollJeffco and add a child. Existing families will need to add a child to their existing EnrollJeffco account.
  4. Submit your request. Select the preschool(s) you want your child to attend.
  5. Accept your enrollment offer. You will receive an email letting you know if your child has been accepted into the preschool(s) you selected. To accept or decline offers, sign into EnrollJeffco again. All offers and waitlist information will be communicated through email.
  6. Upload required documentation. After you accept an offer, you will receive an email asking you to sign into Infinite Campus Online Registration to upload your child's birth certificate and immunization record. In addition to uploading these two items, you will complete your child's registration process by verifying your address, answering a few questions, and signing off on school-related agreements.

Additional Information for 2022-23 preschool program

The Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) is a state-funded, district-run, preschool program. CPP is intended to serve preschool-aged children who are at risk of starting elementary school unprepared due to individual or family factors. Learn more about CPP eligibility criteria.

Additional Information 

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides financial assistance to eligible low-income families who need child care benefits for children from birth to age 12. If you are eligible, a portion of the total child care cost will be paid directly to the provider. You will be required to pay a portion of the child care costs to the provider based on family size and income.
