Postsecondary Opportunities

Jeffco students in grades 9-12 can enroll in their home high school, as well as a community college within the homeschool service area.

To be considered for Concurrent Enrollment, students must:

  1. Complete an application for the community college within their home high school service area.

  2. Apply for the College Opportunity Fund.

  3. Complete the ACCUPLACER test, if required for course.

  4. Have a current ICAP (Individual Career and Academic Plan) including the Concurrent Enrollment course work.

  5. Students must maintain a C average.

  6. Concurrent Enrollment courses are offered through the community college within the student’s home high school service area.

Jeffco Public Schools will pay tuition for concurrent enrollment courses if three conditions exist:

  1. The course exceeds what is offered on the campus
  2. The course is not offered through Virtual Academy
  3. The course is a graduation requirement (non-elective) on the student’s graduation plan (ICAP)
