VACCINATION PROCESS FOR JEFFCO EMPLOYEES

Governor Polis announced the expansion of vaccine distribution in Colorado to include staff at PK-12 schools (Phase 1B.2) beginning Monday, February 8.

Jeffco's Vaccination Process:

  • The district has provided an email list of all employees to our major health care providers in Jeffco. These include Kaiser Permanente, Centura Health, and SCL Health.

  • Employees will be contacted by a vaccine provider via email indicating their eligibility and providing instructions to sign up within the provider's system. Once set up in the provider's system, employees will be able then make an appointment to receive the vaccine.

  • Health care providers are sending emails to employees when the opportunity exists to make an appointment, based on CDPHE priorities, and vaccine availability. The same provider will coordinate the second dose appointment once the first dose has been administered.

  • In addition, employees are encouraged to seek their own vaccination opportunities.
    LIST OF VACCINE PROVIDERS

  • Jeffco Public Schools is not distributing the vaccine to any employee directly, nor determining who is eligible.

  • If an employee has an existing appointment with a provider, we ask that the employee please keep the appointment and disregard other emails from the other providers.
