INCREASING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
According to Jeffco 2019 Healthy Kids Colorado Survey data, less than half of middle school students are getting 60 minutes of physical activity a day, and 40% are spending more than 3 hours a day on devices not related to school.
Exercise is one of the best ways to improve overall physical and mental health. Youth ages 6-17 years should do at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily.
