Three Creeks K-8 celebrates a construction milestone

“Let it fly! Let it fly! Let if fly!”

It was the chant heard around the world. Or at least around the streets of Three Creeks K-8 school.

Over 900 students, staff, and teachers gathered to watch the final beam as it was placed — marking the completion of the framing for their school addition. Three Creeks, which opened in the fall of 2017, is expanding due to the demand for seats and the growing school age population in the area.

The beam itself was special for the Three Creeks community as well. It has spent a week in their library, where students could come in and add their signatures. Come placement day, it was an incredible representation of their school community -- full of signatures, doodles, and messages.

The Three Creeks K-8 addition will be complete and ready to welcome additional students to their family in the fall of 2020.
