Jefferson students at Transportation and Construction Girl 95 Jeffco students received hands-on learning experiences from industry experts at Transportation and Construction Girl!

Currently, the construction work force is only 9.1%
women. Women can help build our future - if we let them know about the possibilities that exist.
There are amazing jobs in the transportation and construction industry. Here are just a few salaries
in the construction and transportation industry: Brick Masons $80,000; Project Coordinator $90,000; Estimator $75,000-$90,000; Architect $75,000; Electrician $58,000; Civil Engineer $81,000; Drone Operator $82,000 and Tower Crane Operator $77,000. And, these are just starting salaries!
A Crane Operator can make $200,000 with experience.

Students were able to experience hands-on learning including: Drones; Building Information Modeling(BIM); Fuel cell car; Welding; Virtual Reality Spray Paint Simulator; Computer simulator; Masonry demo; RTD mock rail crossing; Solar panel installation;
Laser grade level and drone; Attenuator truck; Snowplow; and a Bus tow truck.
