Edgewater Elementary Students Competed in State Stock Market Game Year-Long Challenge
Edgewater Elementary students in Adriana Lucatero's sixth-grade class won first place in the State of Colorado Middle School Stock Market Game Year-Long Challenge and the SIFMA Foundation. They started with $100,000 in September and turned that into $132,466, a 32% return on their investment by April! All students in the class participated. The SIFMA Foundation and the Stock Market Game program honored Lucatero and her students at their annual Awards Ceremony May 7. The winning team of students included Domenika Carillo Chaco, Gabriel Paredes Araujo, and Robert Medina.
