Pomona High School hosted the 17th Annual AWRSAY Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, April 4. The Arvada-Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth has recognized youth who have overcome a major life obstacle or adversity. High school seniors that are recognized are given scholarship opportunities to Red Rocks Community College. Fifteen students received either the Club, Founders, Jerry Jelinick Memorial or AWRSAY Annual Recognition Scholarship. Congratulations to all the honorees!
