The Student Records Center is responsible for the archival and retrieval of academic records for students who have graduated or withdrawn from Jefferson County Public Schools since 1930 and for special education records of all currently enrolled and former students who were born after 1958.
High School Diplomas and GED records are not available from the district. The high school diploma is issued at time of graduation and there are no copies. The transcript may serve as evidence of graduation and may be requested from the Student Records Center. Requests for GED records are submitted to the Colorado Department of Education.
Types of Student Records and Processing Fees
- Official Transcript: $3.00 per copy
- Immunization record: $2.00 per copy
- Academic Records: $3.00 per copy
- Fax records prior to mailing: add $2.00 the cost of the records.
- Special Education Records: $3.00 per copy
Payment / Mailing and Faxing Options
You can pay by Credit Card and fax your request to our secure fax number: 303-982-6575, for immediate processing. Or you can pay by Credit Card, Check or Money Order (Payable to Jeffco Schools) and mail payment and request to the Student Records Center. Requests are generally processed the day they are received. If requested, academic records will be faxed prior to being mailed the following business day. Records will be delivered by the United States Postal Service via First Class Mail. Allow for 5-7 business days for delivery from the date the request is processed.
Graduates or former students of Jeffco Public Schools, parents or legal guardians of students under the age of 18, or higher education institutions requesting records on behalf of students may request Student Records by completing and submitting the following form:

Background investigation companies or potential employers may request a verification of graduation by faxing a request that includes the student's names while attending school, complete date of birth, name of last school and year attended and the student's authorization to release their information to 303-982-6575.
State or government agencies and out-of-district schools may request student information or records by faxing a request to 303-982-6575.
Students currently enrolled in Jeffco Public Schools, parents, or legal guardians may obtain the academic records from the school where the student is enrolled.

Lawyers/Law Offices, State or Government Agencies and Out-of-District Schools may request Special Education Records by faxing a request to 303-982-6575.
Subpoena or Court Orders for Special Education Records should be delivered to the Student Records Center. If academic records are requested and the records are at a different location, the person serving the Subpoena or Court Order will be directed to the school where the student is enrolled.

The Student Records Center is open: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Ed Center Administrative offices are open Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The building will be closed on some government holidays and on the following days:
November 19-23, December 24 – January 1 and on any other dates or closures announced by Jeffco Public Schools.
