School Interest Nights

Throughout the school year, schools in Jeffco hold meetings for parents and students to introduce their instructional programs and explain enrollment procedures. If the school you are interested in is not listed here, please check the school's website.

Kindergarten registration and first-round choice enrollment registration for the 2019 - 20 school year will begin in late January. Students must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2019 to be eligible for kindergarten.

Parmalee Elementary School

What: GT Information Meeting: Meeting is for parents of students newly invited to the Jeffco Gifted & Talented center program. This meeting will provide an overview of Parmalee's GT programming. RSVP strongly encouraged. Adults only please.

Rooney Ranch Elementary School

What: Information Night: Families interested in attending Rooney Ranch Elementary for grades K-5 are invited to attend an information meeting. We will start with a group presentation and our staff will escort families to a break out session for the individual grade levels. Daycare will not be provided.

Deer Creek Middle School

What: Information Night: All interested students and parents are invited to visit Deer Creek to learn more about curriculum, courses, opportunities, and student life. Information Night provides an opportunity for students and parents to talk to current students and staff, learn more about the middle school experience, electives, and the Humanities and STEM programs.

Arvada West High School

What: Interested in attending Arvada West High School? This evening allows attendees to come and meet the administrative team, counselors, and teachers, hear a brief overview of programs, academic courses, electives, activities and athletics. Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to get questions answered and tour the building with current students.

Columbine High School

What: The CHS Showcase is a great opportunity to learn what Columbine High School has to offer. Hear from the principal, see student performances, tour the school, and attend breakout sessions at this informational and entertaining evening.

Dakota Ridge High School

What: IB Diploma Programme Informational Nights. Come learn about the incredible benefits & opportunities offered by the only IB Programme. Students are challenged with rigorous curriculum to excel in their studies, pursuit of lifelong learning, and personal development. Students have the opportunity to earn an International Diploma that is recognized worldwide and provides incredible opportunities for university recognition, scholarships, and tuition savings.

What: Dakota Ridge Information Night. Incoming 9th graders and other grade level students NEW to Dakota are welcome to attend this annual info session. Our campus and offerings will be on display through group presentations, building tours, and staff. Not only will prospective students have the ability to interact with classroom faculty, but also get previews of our athletic, club, and activity offerings.

Golden High School

What: Golden High School Open House for prospective 9th grade students. Principal presentation and Freshmen panel at 4:15 and 5:15 in the auditorium. Come tour the campus, meet teachers and learn about their programs, meet club and sports representatives.

Lakewood High School

What: 8th Grade Open House Nights. Prospective incoming freshmen can join Principal Dan Bock and many representatives from Lakewood's activities and athletics for an informational evening. Interested students and families will have the opportunity to tour the school and ask questions of sponsors, coaches, teachers, administrators, and student leaders about Lakewood and all it has to offer.

Option Schools

Brady High School

What: Information meetings. All students who are interested in enrolling at Brady are required to attend an information meeting with their parent/guardian. Please bring a copy of your transcripts and IEP or 504 plan, if applicable. Plan to arrive early, as those who come after 6 p.m. are asked to come to the next meeting.

The Manning School of Academics and Arts

What: Information Nights: Our information nights give parents the opportunity to learn about Manning's commitment to college preparatory academics, robust arts-based learning opportunities, strong partnership with families, and extensive electives offerings. Parents will hear from staff, students and families regarding what makes Manning a successful option school for all students, and they will also provide a time to answer questions. Both students and families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
