All students are required to have an ALP and an eligibility form completed and approved by their home school’s counselor or administrator. Please see this website to register and for more information.

Reclassification of GT Identification Categories/Strength Areas
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has recently updated the categories for GT Identification. Students who were identified prior to this year will remain identified as gifted and will continue with their Advanced Learning Plan status, but the identified strength/focus area may change for some students. Click here for an update of these changes.

Colorado Gifted Education Review
Jeffco recently underwent a Colorado Gifted Education Review (C-GER) where a team from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) visited various schools in our district and talked to parents, educators, and students about gifted education in our district. We received a great deal of valuable feedback from this process, and appreciate everyone who took time to provide input. You can view a copy of our C-GER report from CDE here.
